Comfort & Fashion Platform

Chicago Shoe Expo has partnered with “COMFORT” which is a new platform to develop and educate Footwear Retailers in developing comfort programs that can be state certified for medical needs as well as consumer needs for comfort footwear. The panel and board is headed by Vadim Bodnya of Pilgrim shoes.

Pilgrim Shoes is a certified manufacture of comfort for medical & consumer comfort. CSE invites every comfort line to join this panel. In order to get the word out, an informational Bio is going to the senior management of all the comfort brands. If you are a comfort brand, there are opportunities out there that are unexplored.

The board at CSE, as experienced veteran professionals, has had numerous requests from retailers in regards to the growing demand by the consumer that shop in their stores. CSE has invited Dr. Jay Kahn, one of the renowned Footwear Podiatrist in the Chicago area, to be a key note speaker about this new and exciting comfort platform. CSE board members are working on final touches in development of a program for retailers to attend “The Comfort Seminar” and the newly developed program Pharmacy for Your Feet.

Another June launch will be “Fashion” for Da Feet which will give you a town square meeting of your product in the Atrium at the retailers (Free) lunch. The only requirement is that you can speak in front of a group presenting your line. CSE is aware of the challenges of getting the retailer to stop in so we are offering this Platform in which you will have a captured audience, so sign up for it now.

The June show will also feature CASH ‘N CARRY with our friends from the Apparel Center & Merchandise Mart and we are expanding that area for June.

Our Cocktail Party will be hosted by The Embassy Suites and co-sponsored by the Vendors of the expo. We have a surprise Key Note speaker be prepared to laugh!

What about Booths??? Many of you were unaware that CSE & the Embassy Suites have booths. Yes, we can accommodate all requests. If you need a booth..you will get a booth accompanied by a reduced rate sleeping room. The reason for our reduced booth fees ($275 for a 10X10) and roll back room rates is because the Embassy Suites Chicago has been partners with us since 2004 and they understand the cost to the shoe traveler. There is no need to hop around from venue to venue. CSE is growing under its new format we invite everyone to join us in the adventure!

Chicago Shoe Expo is going green! We highly encourage you to use the online registration to save on paper and natural resources. The downloadable registration form is available only upon request.

Please register as soon as possible to improve your chances of getting a preferred location for the show.

This will also allow us to let the buyers know where you will be located.

 

• Please note the Embassy Suites Downtown Chicago will charge a deposit of (1) night's room and tax which is not NON-REFUNDABLE.
• All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Chicago Shoe Expo for credit evaluation. The Chicago Shoe Expo understands there are circumstances and is very understanding and will try to accommodate all needs.

Suite Exhibiting requires a 3 Night Minimum. You are charged by the Embassy Suites for the first night deposit upon processing your Application.

Exhibitor Room $179 (New Lower Rate) Contracted rated for June 2012 was $199, will be billed separately.

Exhibitor Log-in Features

To help make your online registration experience better the Registration Team has added new features to the site.

These new features revolve around an optional user account that you can create. The user account is completely voluntary, you are not required to setup an account nor is it done automatically during registration.

While logged in during the Expo Registration certain fields such as Name, Address, City, Phone Number, and Email will be auto-populated by the information provided in you user account.  Also, if you want, during registration you have the option to encrypt and save your credit card information. This information is only used as a convenience to auto-populate some of the fields within the registration form.

You can upload a picture of yourself, or your logo to your profile page. This avatar will be displayed in the Attendee List for each show you are registered in.

Also in the Attendee List your name will be linked to your contact information on your profile page.
